Job Description

A well-established California-based law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Litigation practice. The firm represents a diverse client base that includes large corporations, privately held businesses, partnerships, and individuals across a broad range of industries.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of commercial litigation experience and a strong interest in further developing courtroom and case management skills. This position offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, including leading matters and managing client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Solid commercial litigation experience
  • Real estate litigation experience preferred but not required
  • Significant experience drafting and arguing a variety of motions, managing discovery, and handling related court appearances
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, client relationship management skills, and an interest in business development
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services

Requirements

  • Outstanding academic credentials
  • Active license to practice law in California
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
